From the East
Greetings Brethren and Ladies,
I have some good news for you all. We are finally allowed back to meet in person! Our first back together meeting will be the upcoming July Stated meeting on July 12th. We are not sure about the food yet and if we do have some, it will just be pizza and salad. We will make sure to get back into the swing of things soon!
We will be working with the upcoming officers to get qualified. The end of the year is coming up fast and we will have our nose to the grindstone to get everyone ready. I will be discussing plans for the rest of the year with the officers soon and hopefully we can get some more in person meetings and events going on. More to come soon!
I want to wish you all a Happy 4th of July and look forward on seeing everyone in the near future.
Ken Bychak II - Worshipful Master
From The West
Brethren,
Here we are Brothers, July 2021. It’s been a challenging year for certain, but we’ve reached the light at the end of the tunnel. I look forward to see you “in-person” for the Stated Meeting.
The next couple of months we will be working hard to get a plan in place for next year, start working on the building renovations and really focus on getting folks qualified for next year’s line.
We haven’t been able to accomplish much the last 15 months, but know we will be working hard to get us back on track for the rest of the year and 2022.
Dave Murray - Senior Warden
From the South
Brothers and friends,
Welcome to July! This month we celebrate 245 years since the signing of our Declaration of Independence. As you gather with friends and families, remember to be safe. With life beginning to finally return to normal, expect there to be more cars on the roads this coming Sunday.
As mentioned by Worshipful Bychak, we will be having our Stated Meeting this month in person back at the lodge. This will be our first stated meeting in some time since Ranch Catering will not be providing the dinner, so this month we will be looking at Italian courtesy of one of our local eateries.
This being our first meeting back together, I hope to see a great turn out and look forward to seeing everyone on the 12th.
Happy 4th of July!
Chase Murray - Junior Warden
Happy Easter!!!
Happy 4th of July!! Once again, we celebrate the birthday of our great nation. Times are trying right now, but there is no other country on the planet that I would want to live in! We are going to be meeting in person for the first time at the July Stated Meeting. I look forward to seeing you! Come back to the Lodge and help support your Brothers, spread some fellowship and just get to experience Masonry again.
I am continuing to get Dues payments trickling in. We currently have approximately 32 Brothers that have not paid their dues for 2021. As you know, the Lodge pays Per Capita to the Grand Lodge every August. The Lodge must pay this every year, whether you pay your dues or not. By not paying your dues in a timely manner, you infringe on the Lodge finances and affect your Brothers. If you have not paid your 2021 dues, you are officially overdue. If you are 2 or more years in arrears, you may be suspended for non-payment of dues as per the California Masonic Code, Section 809.370. Suspension for Non Payment of Dues. Neither the Master, I, nor any other Brother in Lodge wishes this to happen! PLEASE get caught up and pay your dues.
iMember 2.0 is in full swing. Please go check it out at member.freemason.org. There are many things you can do there such as changing your address, your personal information, locate lodges, find resources and documents. Maintaining your contact information ensures that you will receive all notices that the Lodge sends out in a timely manner. Please go check it out!
If you are financially unable to pay your dues, please contact the Master to discuss.
If you have lost your envelope, you can mail your dues to:
Santa Maria Lodge No. 580,
PO Box 68, Ramona, CA 92065
You can also go to our website, http://www.santamaria580.org, and pay online. If you have paid and have not received your card in a reasonable amount of time, please contact me at 951-970-4294 or secretary@santamaria580.org and I will take care of it.
